Privacy policy

HeadToHead (“we”, “us”) is operated by Halfdan Harring. This policy explains what
personal data we process when you use the HeadToHead app and website, and why.
Data we collect

Account data — email address, and a unique user ID from Firebase
Authentication. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email (and a name,
if you choose to share it) from that provider.

Profile content — the display name, @username and optional profile
photo you set, plus any private (mini-league) names you create. These are public to
other players, so don't include anything private.

Game data — league memberships, predictions, scores, division placement,
and mini-league membership. Competitive state is stored in Firebase Firestore.

Safety data — if you block or report another player, we store that
action (who, when, and the reason you select) so we can keep blocks in force and review
reports.

Technical data — device type and app version, and standard service logs
from our infrastructure provider (Firebase), used to keep the service reliable and
diagnose problems. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Why we use it
- To run the game — validate picks, settle rounds, and show standings.
- To authenticate you and sync your account across devices.
- To respond to support requests and fix bugs.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We use Firebase (Google Cloud) as our infrastructure
provider. Other players can see your display name and public standings in shared
divisions and mini-leagues — not your email address.
Retention & deletion
We keep account and game data while your account is active. You can permanently delete
your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This
removes your profile, league memberships, entries, social connections and uploaded photo,
and—if you signed in with Apple—revokes the Sign in with Apple token for the app. You can
also request deletion by emailing
support@headtohead.dk.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
